Okay comic after about a month or more with out comics. My bad. In-case you were wondering why it’s because I started a new job and have been focusing on that and other misc school things. I started work at an ace hardware by my house. It’s a nice part time job that I am using to earn money to put up for school. It’s supposed to be seasonal (until early July), but I think they are going to keep me on. the managers seem to have taken a liking to me :3.

In not so happy news Japan has been all over the news about the chaos that has hit their country. Things could not possibly get worse for them. They have had earth quakes, tsunamis, volcanic explosions, and nuclear melt downs. When I hear about this stuff I wish that my comic were some what bigger so I could use my platform to facilitate a bit of help for the efforts at hand trying to help the japan population. Nothing is more upsetting to me than seeing bad things happening to good people. Especially the people working in their nuclear power plants risking their lives to stop it from going critical. Kinda feeling emo after talking about this so I’m going to leave it at the fact that my thoughts go out to everyone in japan.

this last week has been particularly taunting to me. As most people know from past rant’s I got into Columbia College Chicago. Along with that news I continued research into the classes I would be taking for my major to learn that 80% of my classes will require a computer. Which is epic for a number of reasons. I have always had talent for working with computers inside and out. I used my new found knowledge to decide that I would be getting a new laptop. I decided being a mac user for a year now has been rather enjoyable so I will be getting a macbook pro. The only issue is that I’m trying to put off getting it right now because they are supposed to be having a refresh of the hardware soon along with other possible changes.

Needless to say because of that I have been spending spare time hitting the good old refresh buttons on sites like Mac rumors, and the official online apple store. It sucks to be sitting in anticipation because it makes every second last ten times longer!

As many have noticed there was no comic last week. this was due to snowpocolips 2011. For anyone who doesn’t know I live south of Chicago so we got nicely iced over with a lot of the country this past week. I spent a lot of time going back and forth between trying to work and digging people out of bad spots in the snow and getting people in driveways and ect. It wasn’t fun. I was hoping also to announce it here sooner but things got all messed up.

I got into Columbia College Chicago! I was very happy to find out about this last Monday. As soon as I knew I took to twitter and facebook with the news. I start in the fall and will be studying for a bachelors in interactive arts and media. I’m very excited and can’t wait for the fall to be here.

So while waiting to hear back from Columbia College Chicago I managed to Get another comic done! I wanted to have it up sooner but was having some bad artist’s block. Even with that hurtle I’m glad with how it turned out.

In other news We now have a Tokyo Rejects fan page on facebook, which everyone should click “like” to . also If anyone is interested in Forum posts I started one, and you will be able to chat with yours truly there if you please. I really need to make it a point in the next comic to point out that they were supposed to be going to Japan, Tokyo specifically. Other than that one point I think things are going smoothly. Didn’t get to upload as much as I wanted to this week but oh well. I had fun working on this comic though the last frame was kind of awkward to draw lol. Before I blurred it out it was actually the proper shape of… well you can guess lol.

If your a fan of square enix you might find this interesting, FFXIII-2 is in the works to be put out by the end of the year. As a fan boy to the extreme I’m excited to see what they are going to do next. I have really enjoyed what I have played through in FFXIII already and can safely say that it is in my top 3 favorite FF titles of all times

Through out the years I have had 2 best friends, so naturally I would put them in the comic. We have all had moments of fallout and such but we always seem to come back together. Real friends have always been hard to come by especially for me. I have let people in just to have them bring chaos to my life. Which is fine if they stick around to help re-build. Ryan, and Pat are the only two that ever have been those kind of friends to help re-build after a fire. Of course I have other close friends but we haven’t seen those kind of hard time yet. But I hope we do. It’s those hard times that help to test a friendship.

I kind of felt the need to word this because I felt like 2010 was a big year of re-building for me. I accomplished a lot with the support of my friends. I am going back to school and getting things back on track with my life. I’m thankful for having good friends and hoping to have a great 2011.

Before anyone says anything about the comic I want it on the record and said that Tokyo Rejects is a Megatokyo inspired Idea. I don’t want to give anything away but It’s going to kind of be like Megatokyo meets Tron. Since stepping into webcomics with my last project I decided that I want to do a far less serious story for fun. Thus Tokyo Rejects was born. No set update schedule is in place but I want to try for 4 updates a week. Spread this around and link to it if you can I’m going to go start the next one. Until School starts for me in the fall I plan on working on this quiet often.
